Whether your son is starting yeshiva in Israel, across the country, or just a few hours away, packing smart makes all the difference. From daily essentials to dorm hacks, we’ve pulled together the ultimate list to help you get him fully prepped—and yes, we included a few of our favorite His Place must-haves too.

Clothing Essentials

        Lip Balm / Handcream - he’ll need it in the winter

        Stain remover pen - this can save a white shirt, and save him in an emergency

Dorm Gear

       Bedding set – sheets, pillowcases, blanket/comforter

       2 bath towels, hand towel, 

       Drawers or underbed storage, hangers

       Laundry bags

       Power strips, Chargers (buy locally in Israel if needed)

       Clock/alarm, reading lamp or kosher lamp

       Weekend bag – travel-friendly weekender recommended

School Supplies & Extras

       Pens, highlighters, notebooks, folders
