Just make sure to request authorization within 14 days of delivery. Once approved, please send the item back to our warehouse within 7 days to receive a refund*.

The His Place Policy

📦 Return Eligibility Policy

Merchandise must be in the same condition that you received it:

  • Unworn & unused
  • All original tags attached
  • Original packaging included (plastic bags, suit hangers, etc.)

⚠️ Do not use packaging that does not properly fit your return. Items received in damaged or unsatisfactory condition may not qualify for a refund.

🚫 Shirts with opened packaging cannot be returned, even if opened only to try on. Shirts returned with opened packaging will not be refunded or returned.


📏 Sizing, Fit & Exchanges

Fit may vary slightly between styles, collections, and production runs. If your item doesn’t fit as expected, we are happy to offer an exchange for a different size or style.

We regularly make small improvements to our fabrics, linings, and details, so the item you receive may vary slightly from the photos shown.

📮 Return shipping costs are always the customer’s responsibility.


🔁 Restocking Fees

  • Excessive returns may incur a 5% restocking fee.
  • Returns that do not meet conditions may be refused or incur up to a 50% restocking fee.

Return Shipping Requirements

All returns must be mailed back to our warehouse.

We do not accept in-person or drop-off returns.


Retail Store Policy

His Place retail stores are not affiliated with thehisplace.com and cannot accept online returns or exchanges.


Seasonal Sale Policy

Seasonal sale items are Final Sale. Black Friday deals are final sale.

We do not offer:

  • Returns
  • Exchanges
  • Sale price matching

Gift Card Policy

  • E-Gift Cards and Gift Cards are Final Sale & non-refundable.
  • Online use only.
  • Cannot be used on sale or promotional items.

 If you used a 10% discount and need an exchange, we will honor the same discounted price.


Return Methods

🧾Pre-Paid Return Label

Return labels are available for a flat rate of $14.99, or $21.99 for West Coast customers.

Select “Pre-Paid Label” in the returns portal to receive instructions by email.

International customers must ship returns using their own return label

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.


Refund Processing

Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return to be processed after it arrives at our warehouse.

During holiday seasons, processing times may be longer.

Please allow a few extra days for your refund to appear on your bank statement.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

International Orders: Cancellation & Return Policy

1. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been fulfilled. To cancel your order, simply visit your Order Status page or contact our customer service team by email or phone. Once an order has been fulfilled, it can no longer be canceled.

EU customers can Request withdrawal / Return an order within 14 days of receiving the goods. Customers can complete this request in our Customer Hub by logging in to their store account or by placing a return request on our return portal.

2. Returns

We accept returns of new, unused items with all original tags attached and in their original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date.

Items that are returned without their original packaging or tags, or that show signs of wear or use, may not be eligible for a refund.

3. Duties, Taxes & Return Shipping

For international orders, customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and the cost of return shipping, unless the item received is defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our error.

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label and work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
