FAQs
Men’s belt size is typically measured from the buckle to the most commonly
used hole—not the total belt length. The easiest way is to measure a belt you
already wear comfortably, from the buckle tip to the hole you use most often.
That measurement (in inches) is your belt size. As a general rule, your belt
size is usually 2 inches larger than your pant waist size (for example,
a 34-inch waist usually wears a 36-inch belt).
There are several ways to tie a men’s tie, but the most popular and
versatile knot is the Four-in-Hand. It’s slightly
asymmetrical, easy to tie, and works well for most occasions. For more formal
looks, the Half Windsor or Full Windsor knots create a more
balanced, triangular shape. The key is adjusting the knot so the tie tip rests
right at your belt buckle.
Men’s sock styles depend on the outfit and occasion. Currently popular
options include:
- Crew
socks with casual outfits and sneakers - Dress
socks in solid colors, subtle patterns, or textures for
formal wear - No-show
socks for loafers or low-cut shoes in warm weather - Statement
socks with bold colors or patterns to add personality to
neutral outfits
Comfort, material quality, and proper length matter just as much as style.
Men wear scarves both for warmth and style. In colder weather, scarves are
often wrapped once or twice around the neck and tucked into a coat for
insulation. For a more casual or fashionable look, men may drape a scarf
loosely around the neck or use simple knots like the Parisian knot. Lightweight
scarves work well with jackets or sweaters, while thicker scarves pair best
with coats and winter outerwear.
